Analysing social issues through a legal lens
LegalEase is a legal awareness programme which aims to both raise the aspirations of young people from state schools and engage young people at risk of exclusion using the law. The programme makes the law more accessible and teaches participants to analyse the social issues that affect them using a legal lens. This programme helps us to fulfill our aim of empowering people to take control of their lives and positively impact their communities.
The finale event for the LegalEase Tour 2016 – 2017 provides a perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of all participating students. The event will showcase twenty three minute presentations created by young people, advancing a key perspective about a given area of the criminal law. There will be short talks, performances, a Q&A session delivered by a local panel and a keynote speech.
This event is open to the public. We welcome all participating schools and their selected target groups. We welcome any Year 10 student who participated in the LegalEase lecture to attend and support their peers. We welcome parents and friends of students. As usual we welcome all 4FRONT supporters and other interested guests.
